At A Glance This qualification will bridge the gap between the ITIL® Manager’s Certificate in IT Service Management and the ITIL Diploma in IT Service Management. This course is only intended for those holding a valid ITIL Manager's Certificate in IT Service Management based on ITIL versions 1 and 2.
Our Course Covers The main focus of the Managers-Diploma Bridge will be the NEW content of the ITIL V3 and those aspects that have changed. The course has two objectives:
- Define what is new with ITIL V3 and
- Identify what is well known at V2, which have undergone significant changes
The course will give the candidate competencies in the following areas, upon successful completion of the education and examination components:
- An understanding of the background to the new ITIL version
- Service Management as a practice
- Service Lifecycle
- Key Concepts, Principles, Process areas and functions
- Technology and Architecture
- Implementation Considerations
Certification & Examination This ITIL V3 Service Management Bridging Course is designed to meet the requirements of the ITIL V3 Diploma qualification offered by the UK based Information systems Examination Board (ISEB). The exam is a 90-minute, multiple-choice examination scheduled on the last day of the course. The pass mark is 80% (16/20).
Course Prerequisites A qualification of Manager's Certificate in IT Service Management.
